Hi,
the ISO/IEC Guide 73:2002[1] defines the risk management vocabulary. If I have understood it correctly, then all risk management standards use the definitions of the Guide 73. Right? So if i write, that the ISO 17799 define "information security" as
Quote:
preservation of confidentiality, integrity and availability of information; in addition, other properties such as authenticity, accountability, non-repudiation and reliability can also be involved
the definition is in the Guide 73 and the ISO 17799 use it.
My problem is, that I will use some definitions of the ISO 17799/2700x and I think that all definitions are from the Guide 73 and not from the other standards. Right?
greets,
neon
